Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic believes the team’s returning starting lineup has quickly rediscovered its chemistry during the opening days of training camp.

Despite several offseason additions to the roster, Denver has maintained continuity among its starters heading into the 2026–27 NBA campaign.

When asked Tuesday how the primary unit looked while operating together after the summer break, Jokic suggested that the players’ familiarity with one another has made the transition back to organized basketball relatively simple.

“It feels like normal, feels like second nature. It feels like you know what we should be doing,” he noted simply.

The Serbian center also expressed optimism about the team’s new additions, who are currently adjusting to Denver’s playing system and the physical demands of training camp.

“The starting unit is the same, but there’s a bunch of new guys,” said Serbian franchise star Nikola Jokic after practice on Tuesday. “I think they’re going to be good.”

The Nuggets are conducting their training camp at the University of Colorado Boulder’s facilities, focusing on conditioning, defensive accountability and eliminating mistakes before preseason action begins.

Denver will face the Utah Jazz on Sunday in its first exhibition game, followed by four additional preseason contests.
