Nikola Jokic openly acknowledged that the Denver Nuggets are not currently at a championship level following their first-round exit, but his commitment to the franchise hasn’t wavered.

He is expected to sign a contract extension this offseason, even after declining a previous deal last year in favor of a potentially larger one now available.

Despite the team’s shortcomings, Jokic remains the foundation of the organization and has shown no indication of wanting to leave, reinforcing stability at the top as Denver looks ahead.

Jokic has played 11 seasons for the Nuggets. He has averaged 22.2 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 7.5 assists in 810 regular-season games.

He was selected to play in 7 All-Star games. He has won 3 MVP awards, 1 Finals MVP award, and 1 NBA championship.
