Luka Doncic is still a ways from returning as the Los Angeles Lakers prepare for their second-round matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, with his recovery from a hamstring injury progressing slowly.
According to Brian Windhorst, Doncic hasn’t been able to get back on the court yet, and the timeline for his return remains uncertain.
“Not close” to returning for the second-round series against Oklahoma City, which starts on Tuesday, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst said.
He emphasized that recovering from a hamstring issue requires gradual progression, making it difficult to predict when Doncic will be ready.
“I have no idea how Luka’s going to be 14 days from now,” Windhorst added.
“Most likely, you’re not going to see Luka Doncic at the front end of this series, maybe at least for another week to 10 days on the minimum.”
