The Orlando Magic are signing Kevin Knox to an Exhibit 10 contract, according to Jason Beede. Knox will join Orlando for training camp as the team continues to finalize its roster ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The move comes as Orlando makes several adjustments to its training camp roster. The Magic are waiving Justin Council IV, Toney Douglas and Kyle Alexander following their previous Exhibit 10 agreements, according to Beede.
Knox, the ninth overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, brings 320 games of NBA experience to Orlando. He began his career with the New York Knicks after one season at Kentucky, where he averaged 15.6 points and 5.4 rebounds in 37 games during the 2017-18 season.
Knox averaged 12.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in 75 games as a rookie with New York in 2018-19. His role decreased over the following two seasons before he moved between the Knicks, Atlanta Hawks, Detroit Pistons and Portland Trail Blazers.
The 6-foot-7 forward has also spent significant time developing his game in the G League. He averaged 22.6 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 11 games with the Rip City Remix during the 2023-24 season.
Knox continued to produce at a high level in the G League the following year, averaging 21.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 28 games with the Santa Cruz Warriors. He also appeared in 14 NBA games for Golden State that season.
Most recently, Knox played 39 games for the Windy City Bulls in 2025-26, averaging 21.4 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists while shooting 41.4% from three-point range. That three-point mark was the best of his G League career.
The Magic enter training camp after a 45-27 regular season and a first-round playoff exit against Detroit. Orlando also made a coaching change during the offseason, replacing Jamahl Mosley with Sean Sweeney.
The team’s core remains intact, with Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner, Desmond Bane, Jalen Suggs and Wendell Carter Jr. leading the roster. Orlando also brought back former All-Star Nikola Vucevic on a one-year minimum deal and retained Jevon Carter and Jonathan Isaac.
