The Washington Wizards have inked a 10-day contract with center/forward Trey Jemison.
Jemison, who has been playing for the Birmingham Squadron in the G League this season, boasts impressive stats, averaging 10.9 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game in 25 appearances. Standing at 6 feet 10 inches, he has also maintained a solid 57% field goal shooting percentage.
The need for Jemison’s addition arose after Wizards’ starting center Daniel Gafford suffered a concussion during the game against the Detroit Pistons on Monday, January 15.
