Some of the biggest names in football continue to be linked with a move to Arsenal as the winter transfer window comes to a close.
Mikel Arteta is yet to make a signing this winter window. The Spanish manager, whose team currently sit second in the Premier League, has seen his side suffer from several injuries to key players this season.
Bukayo Saka is set to be out for another month or more, Gabriel Jesus is out for the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament injury and Ben White won’t be returning until earliest mid Febuary.
Because of this, Gunners fans might have expected a player or two to come into the squad and fill any potential gaps. Although there is less than 24 hours remaining in the transfer window, Arsenal are still being linked with moves for some big-name players.
With a lot of names being thrown around and rumours continuously being spread, football.london has taken a look at the odds for Arsenal’s next signing.
Mathys Tel has been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich this past month. The six-foot French left-winger, who’s talent and ability is admired by many clubs, has found game time difficult to come-by in the Bundesliga. Although he has played 30 times for Bayern, that is only with six starts. Arteta would surely appreciate a reliable goalscorer.
Another player who looks to be desperate for a move is Marcus Rashford. The 27-year-old has had a rocky last couple of years at Manchester United to say the least. The England international recently came out and said he wanted a new challenge and now looks to be getting that with Aston villa.
Arteta will have to weigh-up his options with Villa striker Ollie Watkins on the cards with the Gunners’ initial bid being rejected, so they could make another move with Rashford heading to Villa Park.
Arsenal next signing odds:
Ollie Watkins – 2/1 (Ladbrokes)
Bryan Mbeumo – 5/1 (Ladbrokes)
Alexander Isak – 6/1 (Ladbrokes)
Liam Delap – 7/1 (SkyBet)
Nico Williams – 11/2 (SkyBet)
Milos Kerkez – 12/1 (Ladbrokes)
Viktor Gyokeres – 14/1 (SkyBet)
Dani Olmo – 14/1 (Ladbrokes)
