Mavericks rookie center Dereck Lively II’s availability for Game 4 remains uncertain after suffering a sprained neck in a collision during Game 3 the Western Conference finals against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Lively left the arena to undergo scans to assess the severity of his injury after being struck in the back of the head by Karl-Anthony Towns’ knee in the second quarter.
NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reports that while initial tests on Lively’s neck returned satisfactory results, his status for the upcoming game remains unclear.
