Terry Rozier, who missed the previous game due to illness, erupted for 34 points, with 14 crucial ones in the fourth quarter, guiding the Charlotte Hornets (8-24) to a surprising 111-104 win over the Sacramento Kings (19-13) on Tuesday night, putting an end to an 11-game losing streak.
Miles Bridges added 27 points, complementing Rozier’s stellar performance, and P.J. Washington contributed 17, playing pivotal roles in the Hornets’ late-game surge.
Despite the Kings’ efforts, led by De’Aaron Fox’s 30 points and Domantas Sabonis’ 23 points and 19 rebounds for his 15th consecutive double-double, Sacramento couldn’t withstand the Hornets’ determined comeback.
