Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins pointed to “flexibility” as a key factor in the decision to trade veteran center Steven Adams to Houston. The trade involved acquiring Victor Oladipo and three second-round picks.
The move likely provides the Grizzlies with more roster flexibility and strategic options moving forward.
“Big-time thanks to (Adams),” Jenkins said. “Opportunities come throughout the league. We got to make some decisions. Obviously we’re excited about the flexibility it creates for us.
