The Philadelphia 76ers have been fined $75,000 for a violation of injury reporting related to big man Joel Embiid’s knee issue ahead of Saturday’s game against the Denver Nuggets.
Embiid, who was a late scratch from the game due to a knee injury, did not appear on the injury report beforehand. However, it’s clarified that there is no violation of the player participation policy as Embiid’s injury was confirmed.
