Even without injured Jalen Williams, the Oklahoma City Thunder showcased their depth in Game 3 against the San Antonio Spurs.

Oklahoma City’s bench overwhelmed San Antonio’s second unit by a 76-23 margin, with Jared McCain leading the way with 24 points.

After the game, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander praised McCain’s confidence and aggressive mentality.

“He just oozes confidence,” Gilgeous-Alexander said.

According to SGA, McCain’s self-belief and understanding of his game allow him to stay effective regardless of whether shots are falling.

“He knows exactly who he is, he knows exactly what he does, and he goes out there and does it no matter what,” Gilgeous-Alexander said.

The Thunder star also highlighted McCain’s constant attacking mindset and willingness to keep making plays.

“Whether the ball goes in or out he makes the next play,” SGA added. “He’s always aggressive, always in attack mode and we needed it tonight.”
