In a nail-biting finish, Saddiq Bey’s emphatic dunk off Trae Young’s miss secured a thrilling 126-125 victory for the Atlanta Hawks (19-27) against the Toronto Raptors (16-30) on Sunday night.
The Raptors, facing their fifth consecutive loss, battled fiercely, but a turnover in the backcourt ultimately led to Bey’s game-winning dunk with just 1.1 seconds remaining.
Bey contributed a season-high 26 points and secured 13 rebounds. Trae Young orchestrated the Hawks’ offense with 30 points and 12 assists.
