In a tightly contested matchup, the Houston Rockets (25-31) clinched a narrow 114-110 victory over the Phoenix Suns (33-24) on Friday night.
Fred VanVleet led the charge for the Rockets with 23 points, supported by Jabari Smith Jr.’s impressive double-double performance of 22 points and 16 rebounds. Alperen Sengun added 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Despite a strong showing from Phoenix’s stars, including Kevin Durant’s 28 points and Devin Booker’s 25 points, the Suns couldn’t overcome Houston’s resilience.
