Daniel Theis of the Los Angeles Clippers has been fined $2,000 by the NBA for flopping during a recent game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The fine comes after a league review determined that Theis exaggerated contact from Rudy Gobert, the Timberwolves’ center, in an apparent attempt to draw a foul.
While the initial contact may have been legitimate, Theis’ reaction was deemed excessive and deserving of disciplinary action.
