Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr., and Nikola Jokic showcased their firepower, combining for 80 points to lead the Denver Nuggets (36-16) to a 114-106 triumph over the Los Angeles Lakers (27-26) on Thursday night.
Murray led the charge with 29 points, supported by Porter Jr.’s 27-point performance and Jokic’s near triple-double of 24 points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists, as the Nuggets extended their winning streak to three games.
Despite the Lakers’ spirited comeback efforts, Murray’s clutch shooting down the stretch, including a pivotal three-pointer and a floater, coupled with Porter Jr.’s timely scoring, secured the win for the Nuggets.
