Miikka Muurinen has found his next destination, as the young Finnish prospect is set to join the Arkansas Razorbacks under head coach John Calipari for the upcoming NCAA season.

After emerging as one of the standout performers at EuroBasket 2025, Muurinen signed with KK Partizan. However, his opportunities at the top European level were limited, seeing minimal action in both the EuroLeague and the ABA League.

As a result, he has decided to continue his development in the NCAA with the goal of entering the 2027 NBA Draft.

Reports from U.S. media indicate Arkansas as his landing spot, a program that has been among the stronger teams in the SEC this season, led by standout talent Darius Acuff, who is widely projected as a top-five Draft pick.

Muurinen struggled to find consistent minutes in Europe, appearing in just six EuroLeague games and averaging 0.2 points in roughly 10 minutes per outing, while also playing eight games in the ABA League with averages of 4.1 points.

Now, the 19-year-old will look to elevate his draft stock in college basketball, where he is already viewed as a potential top pick in 2027 alongside Tyran Stokes.
