NBA legend Magic Johnson took to social media on Sunday to congratulate Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant on his 36th birthday. In a heartfelt tweet, Johnson expressed his admiration for Durant both on and off the court.
“Happy birthday to Kevin Durant! KD is one of my favorite players and people and his mother Wanda, is truly a special lady,” Johnson tweeted. He added that Durant is not only a talented athlete but also a successful entrepreneur alongside his business partner, Rich Kleiman.
Durant, known for his exceptional scoring ability, had an impressive season with the Suns last year. He averaged 26.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game in 37.2 minutes.
Beyond his achievements in the NBA, Durant has also excelled internationally. This summer, he added another accolade to his illustrious career by winning his fourth Olympic gold medal with Team USA at the Paris Olympics.
Off the court, Durant’s business ventures have continued to grow. Alongside Kleiman, he has built a business empire, with investments spanning various industries, including media, tech, and sports.
