In a much-needed turnaround, Kyle Kuzma led the Washington Wizards (10-53) to a crucial 112-100 win over the Charlotte Hornets (15-48), ending their 16-game losing streak.
Kuzma scored team-high 28 points along with eight rebounds and nine assists, spearheading the Wizards’ offensive charge, supported by Deni Avdija’s solid contribution of 18 points and 14 rebounds.
Despite a strong effort from the Hornets’ Miles Bridges, who recorded 32 points and 12 rebounds, Charlotte’s struggles continued as they extended their losing streak to six games.
