Labissière, who last played for the Stockton Kings in the NBA G League, returns to Sacramento after a strong season. He averaged 16.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game in 26 appearances for Stockton.
The 6-foot-10 big man impressed with his efficiency, shooting 65.1% from the field, ranking second in field goal percentage for the 2023-24 G League regular season. His defensive presence was also felt, ranking 12th in blocks per game.
Originally drafted by the Phoenix Suns as the 28th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, Labissière was traded to Sacramento on draft night. He has since played 148 games in the NBA, including stints with the Kings, Portland Trail Blazers, and Atlanta Hawks.
Labissière’s NBA career averages include 7.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 0.8 blocks per game. He last played in the NBA during the 2019-2020 season with Portland before continuing his career overseas and in the G League.
In addition to his time with Stockton, Labissière has also played for the Westchester Knicks and Mexico City Capitanes. He has spent time developing his game in different leagues, which has helped him remain a versatile forward-center.
