Kevin Ollie on Nic Claxton: “I don’t want him to be in a box offensively”

Nic Claxton is set to enter free agency after the season, and Nets interim coach Kevin Ollie is keen on seeing continued development from his center as an offensive threat.

Claxton has been averaging 15.0 points and 3.1 assists in seven games this month, as reported by Jared Schwartz of the New York Post.

“I want [Claxton] to be unlocked, I don’t want him to be in a box offensively,” Ollie said.
