The Memphis Grizzlies star guard Ja Morant is set to have surgery that will end his season, but the good news is that he should fully recover before the 2024-2025 season kicks off.
During a training session on Saturday, Morant experienced a partial dislocation of his right shoulder. After dealing with persistent pain and instability, an MRI showed an underlying tear in the labrum.
It’s worth noting that Morant had just returned last month after serving a 25-game suspension.
