Mitch Kupchak, the longtime President of Basketball Operations for the Charlotte Hornets, is stepping down from his role, marking a significant shift in the organization’s leadership.
Under Kupchak’s tenure, the Hornets navigated various challenges, but the team’s highest finish in the Eastern Conference was ninth place.
According to ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Kupchak will transition into an advisory position within the organization, allowing the Hornets to initiate an immediate search for a new head of basketball operations.
