Despite Curry’s season-high 60 points, the Hawks, led by Young’s 35 points, secured the victory in the extra period.
Dejounte Murray’s crucial seven points in an 11-0 run to start overtime proved decisive for Atlanta. Onyeka Okongwu had a career-high 22 points and a season-high 16 rebounds, while Jalen Johnson contributed 21 points.
