Former world No. 1 Djokovic led Serbia to the 2010 Davis Cup championship and owns Serbian Davis Cup records for most wins (46-16) and most singles wins (41-8).
The muscle tear Djokovic suffered at the Australian Open could take six to eight weeks to fully heal, doctors said.
