Novak Djokovic’s Asian swing is over, but he plans to continue playing this season.

In the aftermath of his 6-4, 6-3 Rolex Shanghai Masters loss to Hubert Hurkacz today, Djokovic shared his aim to play the Rolex Paris Masters, which is set for November 2-8th in Paris.

“I’m planning only to play in Paris or, let’s see,” Djokovic said. “Hopefully, I can have a good result there.”

The Grand Slam king has said he will play the ATP Finals in Turin November 15-22nd, if he qualifies for the seaosn-ending event. Djokovic is currently in ninth place in the ATP Race to Turin with the top eight men qualifying for the ATP Finals.

Reigning ATP Finals champion Jannik Sinner has already ended his 2026 season, which strengthens the 39-year-old Serbian superstar’s shot of qualifying.

A year ago, Djokovic qualified for his 18th ATP Finals, but opted to end his season after out-dueling Lorenzo Musetti in the Athens final.

Djokovic captured his 102nd career championship in Beijing this week, improving his career China Open record to a perfect 34-0.

“Beijing was great,” Djokovic said. “A very early exit here, but it’s okay. I’ve had a great week in Beijing, and I look forward to rest a little bit and get ready for indoor.”
