Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns and Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors were both ejected from Friday’s game.
The ejections came after a prolonged verbal altercation late in the fourth quarter, according to Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic.
After the game, Booker brushed off the incident while speaking to reporters.
“It’s nothing man,” he said. “I’ve been there before and I understand the situation. My big brother used to beat me in NBA Live back in the day and I’d throw a fit. He’s a competitor. He loves the sport.”
In a separate update, Mark Williams (left foot soreness) and Grayson Allen (left hamstring) were considered questionable for Sunday’s series opener in Oklahoma City.
Both were unavailable on Friday, though Williams had logged 22 minutes in Tuesday’s play-in matchup against Portland.
Allen, who suffered his injury on April 10, was active for Friday’s game but did not see any playing time.
