Anthony Davis and Rui Hachimura led the Los Angeles Lakers (30-26) to a commanding 138-122 victory over the Utah Jazz (26-29) on Wednesday night in the absence of LeBron James.
With James sidelined due to an ankle injury, Davis stepped up with a standout performance, recording 37 points and 15 rebounds, while Hachimura exploded for a career-high 36 points, including six 3-pointers, to propel the Lakers to victory.
Despite Collin Sexton’s 18 points and contributions from Jordan Clarkson (17 points) and Lauri Markkanen (16 points), the Jazz struggled to contain the Lakers’ offensive onslaught, falling behind early and unable to mount a comeback.
