According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Washington Wizards have traded Danilo Gallinari and Mike Muscala to the Detroit Pistons. In return, they will receive Marvin Bagley, Isaiah Livers, and two second-round picks.
Gallinari is currently on a $6.8 million expiring contract and has not played since sustaining a torn ACL during the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers in 2022 while representing the Italian national team. It’s worth noting that the Wizards had acquired Gallinari last summer from the Boston Celtics.
