The Boston Celtics continue to view Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown as players who are still evolving, even in their ninth year as teammates, per Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe.

Their long-standing partnership, uncommon in today’s league, has allowed both to rise into the franchise’s top 10 all-time scorers while growing together over time.

“I think it’s great, it’s been a historic sort of run,” Brown said.

“We were able to deliver a championship in 2024. Unfortunately we had our opportunities in the past that got away from us, but we’ve been right there for a long amount of time.

“We gained a lot of experience. I personally gained a lot of experience. It’s been a pleasure.”

Tatum has averaged 23.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 3.9 assists across his career, serving as the team’s primary offensive option and all-around leader.

Brown, meanwhile, has contributed 20.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 674 regular-season games.
