The Chicago Bulls are open to trading Zach LaVine at his request, but they seek a substantial return for the veteran guard and won’t trade him just to unload salary.
Trade discussions with the Detroit Pistons occurred, but no close deal emerged. LaVine, who requested a trade earlier in the season, is owed over $178 million through 2026-27, and a serious market for him has yet to develop.
