How It Happened

The Bucs attacked for much of the first 10 minutes of the game. Shortly after, the winds shifted in favor of the Privateers and they erased the scoreless draw in the 16th minute on Young’s goal which came to him in the box from a cross and he buried it with his left foot to give his team a lead they would not relinquish.

In the second half, though the Buccaneers had their opportunities, SUNY held the Bucs off the board and the Buccaneers did not allow the Privateers to extend their lead. SUNY took the win in the annual rivalry game, 1-0.

What’s Next

The Bucs will play their home opener on Wednesday, September 11th at Clean Harbors Stadium against Nichols College at 7pm.
