Braylon Mullins chose to return to the University of Connecticut for his sophomore year, passing on the chance to enter early for the 2026 NBA Draft, where he had been viewed as a notable prospect to monitor.

ESPN had placed Mullins at No. 17 in its latest Top 100 rankings, and many projections suggested the 6-foot-6 guard could have been selected anywhere from the late lottery to the mid-20s if he had declared.

During his freshman campaign, Mullins played in 33 games for the Huskies, putting up averages of 12 points and 3.5 rebounds per contest.

By returning for another season at UConn, he now has the opportunity to elevate his draft position further, especially with the 2027 class currently considered less competitive.
