Rune’s victory helps Alexander Zverev leapfrog Alcaraz back to No.2, as Alcaraz drops to No.3. Zverev, who won his 24th career title at Munich, is 35 points clear of Alcaraz.
Hungary’s Fabian Marozsan is the biggest mover inside the Top 100 this week – he jumps 19 spots to No.58 after reaching the semifinals in Munich.
Hamad Medjedovic reaches a career-high at No. 61, while David Goffin returns to the Top-50 for the first time since last October, at No.49.
Jannik Sinner continues to lead the rankings, clocking in his 46th consecutive week in the top spot.
In the Race to Turin standings, Alcaraz has the lead – the four-time major champion has 2750 points compared to 2185 for Zverev. Sinner, who has only played the Australian Open, is third with 2000, while Jack Draper is fourth with 1650.
