Micah Parsons was left confused after LeBron James chose the Philadelphia 76ers over the Golden State Warriors, wondering why so many star players continue to pass on the chance to play alongside Stephen Curry.
“Nobody wants to play with my man Curry man I don’t get it!!” Parsons wrote on X. “All he do is win!! What is going on in the Bay!!???”
James became the latest marquee player to reject Golden State’s pursuit, instead agreeing to a reported two-year, $8 million contract with Philadelphia.
The Warriors had hoped to pair him with Curry and Draymond Green for one last championship push, but James opted to join Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown and Joel Embiid.
Parsons has long been one of Curry’s biggest supporters.
Throughout the Warriors’ 2022 title run, he consistently praised the two-time MVP, defended him in debates and even compared his influence on basketball to Michael Jordan’s.
More recently, Parsons criticized Emmanuel Acho after the analyst ranked Curry fifth among active NBA players at their peak.
“I’m sorry, not having Curry first is disrespectful!” Parsons wrote.
