A nagging back issue has knocked Barbora Krejcikova out of Indian Wells.
Two-time major champion Krejcikova has withdrawn from next week’s BNP Paribas Open.

World No. 16 Krejcikova has not played since falling in the semifinals of the WTA Finals last November due to the back injury.

Krejickova’s withdrawal comes a few days after former No. 1 Venus Williams said she declined a wild card into the BNP Paribas Open main draw.
