BUZZARDS BAY, Mass — The Buccaneers men’s soccer team played host to Fitchburg State on Friday in conference play at Clean Harbors Stadium. Thanks to a late goal from the Falcons, Fitchburg left with three conference points by way of a 1-0 final score.

How It Happened
The teams played to a 0-0 draw in the first 45 minutes from Buzzards Bay with the Bucs or shooting the Falcons six to three.
In the second half, it took until the 68th minute but the Falcons finally scored on a cross from Job into the box to Oliveira-Dalicandro that he chested into the goal to five the Falcons a 1-0 lead. Maritime took five shots in the second half to the Falcons 10 and could not find the net. Fitchburg left Taylor’s Point with three points on the 1-0 win.
