Timberwolves sign guard Chasson Randle

The Minnesota Timberwolves have officially signed veteran guard Chasson Randle. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, following team policy.

Randle, who stands at 6-foot-2, spent last season playing for AEK Athens in the Greek Basketball League.

In 21 games with AEK, he averaged 8.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in 24.3 minutes per game. Randle shot 42.4% from the field during his stint in Greece.

The 30-year-old brings four seasons of NBA experience to Minnesota, having previously played for the Philadelphia 76ers, New York Knicks, Washington Wizards, Golden State Warriors, and Orlando Magic.

Throughout 119 NBA games, he has accumulated 679 points, 172 rebounds, and 210 assists. His NBA career averages include 5.7 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.
