Historic champions met in Madrid today.
Grand Slam king Novak Djokovic took time out from his Mutua Madrid Open practices to meet Real Madrid soccer stars.
Dressed in white, perhaps in a nod to the color of Real Madrid’s home kit, Djokovic looked relaxed and comfortable spending time with the players.
Real Madrid shared video of the momentous meeting on social media.
Three-time Madrid champion Djokovic is playing for his first Mutua Madrid Open championship since he defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the 2019 final.
No. 4-seeded Djokovic has a first-round bye and will face either Italian Matteo Arnaldi or a qualifier in his Madrid opener.
