Rockets pull off surprising win against Kings

The Houston Rockets (29-35) stunned the Sacramento Kings (36-27) with a resilient 112-104 win on Sunday night, despite losing leading-scorer Alperen Sengun to a right knee and ankle injury.

Fred VanVleet led the charge for the Rockets with 22 points, while Jalen Green contributed 19. Sengun recorded 14 points and six rebounds before exiting the game after 29 minutes of play.

Sengun’s injury cast a shadow over the game, with the young star leaving the court in a wheelchair after landing awkwardly while challenging a shot by the Kings’ Domantas Sabonis.
