Despite not receiving the same level of attention as Rookie of the Year contenders Victor Wembanyama and Chet Holmgren this season, Rockets’ center Alperen Sengun made a significant statement in Tuesday’s game against Wembanyama.
Jonathan Feigen of The Houston Chronicle highlights that Sengun not only outperformed Wembanyama but dominated the matchup.
He recorded a career-best 45 points, along with 16 rebounds and five steals, achieving personal season highs in both categories.
