De’Anthony Melton came back after missing 18 games

Sixers guard De’Anthony Melton made his return to the court after an 18-game absence in Friday’s game against Cleveland, as reported by Gina Mizell of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Melton, who had been sidelined since January 12 due to a lumbar injury in his back, returned off the bench with a minutes restriction. Before his absence, the 25-year-old had started in all 33 games he participated in this season.

Known for his strong defensive skills, Melton has maintained averages of 11.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, shooting at a rate of .393/.363/.827 in 29.1 minutes per game across 33 contests.
