Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns led the Minnesota Timberwolves (37-16) to a dominant 121-100 win over the Los Angeles Clippers (35-17) in a clash of Western Conference contenders.
Towns contributed 24 points, while Edwards added 23 along with seven rebounds and eight assists, leading the Timberwolves to their third win in the last four games and maintaining their position atop the Western Conference standings.
Despite a spirited effort from Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and James Harden, who combined for 53 points, the Clippers were unable to overcome the Timberwolves’ relentless attack.
