Terry Rozier’s heroics propel Hornets to surprise victory over Kings

Terry Rozier, who missed the previous game due to illness, erupted for 34 points, with 14 crucial ones in the fourth quarter, guiding the Charlotte Hornets (8-24) to a surprising 111-104 win over the Sacramento Kings (19-13) on Tuesday night, putting an end to an 11-game losing streak.

Miles Bridges added 27 points, complementing Rozier’s stellar performance, and P.J. Washington contributed 17, playing pivotal roles in the Hornets’ late-game surge.

Despite the Kings’ efforts, led by De’Aaron Fox’s 30 points and Domantas Sabonis’ 23 points and 19 rebounds for his 15th consecutive double-double, Sacramento couldn’t withstand the Hornets’ determined comeback.
