The full fixture list for the 2026-27 EuroLeague regular season has been unveiled. The competition will once again feature a 20-team, home-and-away round-robin format, with each club playing 38 regular-season games before the postseason begins.
The biggest change from last season’s lineup is the arrival of Besiktas Istanbul, which replaces AS Monaco in the competition. Besiktas returns to the EuroLeague by hosting Valencia Basket on Friday, September 25, one day after the season officially tips off.
Opening night on Thursday, September 24 features six games, highlighted by Dubai Basketball welcoming Real Madrid and defending champion Olympiacos Piraeus opening its title defense on the road against Baskonia. Barcelona begins its campaign with a marquee home clash against Anadolu Efes, while Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv hosts Bayern Munich.
The remaining Thursday schedule includes Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade against Zalgiris Kaunas, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne versus Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv, and Panathinaikos Athens taking on Paris Basketball. Round 1 concludes on Friday with Besiktas facing Valencia, Fenerbahce Istanbul hosting Virtus Bologna, and Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade welcoming Armani Olimpia Milan.
The schedule also confirms several of the season’s most anticipated rivalry games. Round 7 on October 22 features both the first Turkish derby between Anadolu Efes and Besiktas, as well as the opening Serbian derby between Partizan and Crvena Zvezda. The first Israeli derby arrives in Round 11 on November 12 when Hapoel Tel Aviv meets Maccabi Tel Aviv.
A rematch of the 2026 EuroLeague Championship Game will take place in Round 13 on November 20, with reigning champion Olympiacos hosting Real Madrid. El Clásico between Barcelona and Real Madrid follows in Round 15 on December 3, while the Greek derby between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos headlines Round 16 on December 11.
The new season follows an impressive 2025-26 campaign in which Olympiacos finished first in the regular-season standings with a 26-12 record before capturing the EuroLeague title. Valencia secured second place at 25-13, while Real Madrid and Fenerbahce each finished 24-14 to earn top-four seeds. Hapoel Tel Aviv, Zalgiris, Panathinaikos and Monaco rounded out the playoff field, although Monaco’s place in the league has now been taken by Besiktas.
The postseason structure remains unchanged. After the regular season concludes on Friday, April 16, the teams finishing seventh through 10th will compete in the Play-In Showdown on April 20 and April 23 to determine the final two playoff participants. The best-of-five playoff series will run from April 27 through May 12 before the season culminates with the 2027 EuroLeague Final Four.
The Final Four is scheduled for May 28 and May 30, when the semifinals and championship game will determine Europe’s next champion.
