The England game was very disappointing and Scotland are able to get right back on the horse immediately with a tricky visit to Italy. They beat the Italians last year but have not won in Italy since 1999 so another hurdle will need to be overcome to get their tournament back on track.
Head coach Bryan Easson has made four changes across the starting XV, with Lisa Thomson and Francesca McGhie in for Meryl Smith and Coreen Grant in the backline. Smith and Grant drop to the bench and will be anxious to make an impact after struggling to do so in rounds two and three.
In the pack, Molly Wright starts at prop and Eva Donaldson in the second row will start, while the players replaced (Leah Bartlett and Fi McIntosh) again move to the bench.
